Recognising the importance of developing the future generation, MARVEX organised the MARVEX Air-Cond & Refrigeration Skills Competition, giving the event’s six participants, students from local TVET institutions, exposure to hands-on skill training.
The competition tested the range of skills used by an air-conditioning technician when installing the equipment. The competition garnered a large crowd and despite the pressure of watchful eyes, all participants successfully installed their units within the stipulated time frame. MARVEX’s aspiration for this competition is to provide the industry’s future generation with the experience and exposure that will help them further their career.
