Over four transformative days at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, ENGINEER & MARVEX 2025 reaffirmed its position as ASEAN’s Key Engineering and HVAC&R Exhibition and Conference. The exhibition and conference exceed expectations, drawing 14,133 visitors from over 70 countries, with more than 250 exhibitors from 10 countries showcasing breakthrough technologies across 8,500m² of space.
The regional presence was unmistakable, with delegations and professionals from countries including the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan, Korea and the United States of America. ASEAN industry associations convened at ENGINEER & MARVEX for high-level policy discussions, underscoring the exhibition’s role as a neutral ground for regional cooperation, standard-setting, and advocacy.
This year, the exhibitions achieved an unprecedented synergy with the Malaysian government, underscored by the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Minister of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Deputy Ministers, and Senior Representatives from Ministry of Science Tecnology and Innovation (MOSTI), Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), the Ministry of Communications, and the Public Works Department (JKR). Further amplifying its impact, the Energy Commission and Standards Malaysia led pivotal dialogues that pushed the frontier on policy, safety, and global standards, cementing the exhibition as a catalyst for progress across ASEAN and beyond.
A hallmark of ENGINEER & MARVEX 2025 was its knowledge-rich ecosystem, with 80 hours of content led by150 expert speakers from 16 countries across 60 sessions PowerTalks, Forums, and the Malaysia’s Largest Engineering Symposium and Conferences, with 8 symposiums including the debut of the A.C.E. Conference, MARVEX Forum and the return of the Kuala Lumpur Engineering Forum (KLEF). Government agencies such as PLANMalaysia, Malaysia Debt Ventures, Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), and the Energy Commission delivered insights that directly connected visitors with the nation’s green agenda.
Exhibitors seized the stage to unveil new and breakthrough technologies, many focusing on energy efficiency, conservation, and sustainability, demonstrating industry-wide alignment with Malaysia’s net zero ambitions. Additionally, with over 10 MoUs signed this year, ENGINEER & MARVEX has cemented its role as the premier platform for forging strong partnerships and driving transformative connections across the industry.
In a first for the exhibition this year, three Live Showcases were on display: Data Centre Infrastructure, Hybrid Operating Theater (HOT), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), offering visitors rare, hands-on experiences of game-changing solutions shaping the future.
Jointly organised by The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), the Malaysian Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (MACRA), and C.I.S, ENGINEER & MARVEX is not just an exhibition, it is a movement that bridges industries, governments, and innovators to propel Malaysia and the region towards a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable era.
While the curtains have closed for this year, ENGINEER & MARVEX will return stronger, showcasing state-of-the-art innovations, an expanded spectrum of solutions, and even more breakthrough launches. With government-led insights, forward-looking policies, and future-ready technologies driving the green transition, it is the definitive platform for those who want to stay ahead of change and shape what comes next.
