Mr. Barry Lau is the President of ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter and Head of Building Services, Facilities Management at Swire Properties Limited. He is responsible for formulating the corporate decarbonization and energy saving strategies within Swire Properties to pave way for the company in advancing towards a net zero future and technical support to the company’s operation across Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. He leads engineering team to manage energy saving strategies implementation, Retro-commissioning, implementation of cloud-based smart energy management platform across portfolios ,digitalization transformation of technical services, artificial intelligence & innovative solution for building application and Technical Cloud across global operations. Barry also led Sustainability Development for the new projects including set-up target, project management of Sustainability consultant and innovative solution implementation for existing and new portfolios Before joining Swire Properties Ltd , Mr. Barry Lau was Associate Director of Arup in Hong Kong and have extensive experience in design of large chiller plant and sustainable building design. He was the project manager for district cooling system in Kai Tak Development and Zero Carbon Building. Barry is ASHRAE Member, Chartered Engineer, a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Adrian is the Chief Operating Officer (Projects) of KJTS Group Bhd. He brings along with him more than 25 years of engineering work experience, 20 years of which are under the KJ Group of Companies. He has led and successfully completed a variety of greenfield and brownfield projects including that of district coolingplants in Malaysia and abroad. He is currently heading the company’s initiative into becoming Malaysia’s leader in the Integrated Energy Management sector. Adrian received his Bachelors of Engineering (Hons)in Electronics Engineering from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology UK. He is also a certified Professional Technologist with the Malaysian Board of Technologists.

A highly credentialed facilities management professional with extensive experience in building operations, sustainability and engineering across large-scale hospitality and integrated resort environments in Macao. Currently leading a team of 37 people at MGM Cotai, overseeing facilities management for 1,390 guest rooms with an annual budget exceeding MOP 10 million. Holds an exceptional sustainability credential stack — LEED AP, WELL AP, CFA ESG and TRUE — reflecting deep commitment to green building performance, indoor environment quality and occupant wellness. Played a key role in MGM Cotai and MGM Macau achieving WELL Building Standard v2 Platinum certification with a score of 121 points, the highest among publicly disclosed WELL projects in China, and the first integrated resort operator in Macau to implement WELL at Scale. Holds a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Macau, with international research experience across Israel, Austria, Singapore and Taiwan.
