The Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (FRDM) today soft launched the inaugural Asia Fire Safety Expo, announcing that it will be held alongside the sixth International Fire Conference and Exhibition Malaysia (IFCEM) from 28 September to 1 October 2027 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Both events will take place concurrently with ENGINEER and MARVEX 2027.
The Asia Fire Safety Expo will showcase fire protection technologies, equipment, materials and systems, connecting global manufacturers and solution providers with authorities, engineers, consultants and building industry players.
Themed “Reinforcing A Resilient Horizon”, IFCEM 2027 is expected to bring together about 1,500 local and international delegates to discuss emerging fire safety challenges, digital innovation and emergency response.
FRDM Director General Dato’ Sri Ts. Nor Hisham bin Mohammad said the new expo would keep the industry connected between IFCEM conferences, which are held every three years. “AFSE will be organised annually, providing a platform for the fire safety industry to continue engaging, showcasing technologies, exchanging knowledge and building partnerships” he said.
