The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) has taken a bold step towards shaping the future of engineering by signing six groundbreaking Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading technical organisations and educational institutions. These strategic partnerships are set to ignite innovation, drive knowledge exchange, and strengthen collaboration within the engineering community.
Ir. Prof. Dr Jeffrey Chiang Choong Luin, the president of IEM elaborated that the organisation entered into these MOU for the benefits of its members.
“Our partnership with so many diverse groups will bring a variety of opportunities for employment, education, training, and upskilling for our members. and perhaps collaboration internationally,” he said.
Day 3 of ENGINEER & MARVEX saw IEM exchanging MOUs with Malaysian Association of Sustainable Supply Chain & Innovation (MASSCI), Real Estate Housing Development Authority (REHDA), Malaysian Geotechnical Society (MGS), Project Management Institute Malaysia (PMIMY), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT).
