Camfil Malaysia Sdn Bhd was recognised for its Camfil Hi-Flo XLT, a glass fibre bag filter that boasts high energy efficiency.“This award gives us recognition for our product and also highlights how important sustainability in construction is,” said Fam Wee Chean, General Manager.
Systemair Sdn Bhd’s unconventional electronic filter with UV light for sanitisation is another MARVEX 2024 Excellence Award winner for its product, BA-Hygiene. “Winning the award pulled interest from the public who previously didn’t know about the product and helped introduce us to a wider audience,” said Jack Tan, the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Meanwhile, Gree Air Conditioner (M) Sdn Bhd was awarded for its aerodynamic gas bearing centrifugal chiller, which its Sales Director Mario Wong said is not magnetic, unlike other chillers, making it more reliable than conventional chillers. “This award helps increase awareness about the product and get more interest from participants, so we are happy we won,” he said.
American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn Bhd won an Excellence Award for its air purifying system, the Astropure CCXD250A. Its product marketing engineer Tan Jia Wei said, “The award helps to improve the company image and also increase brand awareness among its customers.”
EBM-PAPST SEA Pte Ltd’s product, Radipact C, was also awarded under MARVEX 2024.
Danny Chin, Country Manager, said it was good to give recognition for the product in the mass market. “The award helps provide exposure for us to potential customers and helps raise awareness about our products,” he said.
Delta Electronics International (Singapore) Pte Ltd puts climate change to the fore with its Uno Next Indoor Air Quality Monitor, one of the MARVEX 2024 Excellence Award winners.“This award can help us to make more people aware of climate change, and MARVEX gives us the chance to boost this awareness,” said Josoon Ng, its Sales Manager.
AHW Group Sdn Bhd’s Navvis VLX Wearable Mobile Mapping System is yet another innovation highlighted at ENGINEER & MARVEX 2024 and recognised with an Excellence Award. “By winning this award, we can get increased recognition in the market, and it could help us break into the private sector, as so far we have mostly focused on the government sector,” said Aiman Haziq, the company’s Managing Director.
PromaStop – IM Grille by Etex Malaysia Sdn Bhd garnered the company an ENGINEER 2024 Excellence Award, showcasing the importance of fire safety. Sean Lee, Technical Sales Manager, SEA, at Etex Malaysia Sdn Bhd said, “Through this award, we can promote and contribute towards sustainable design, and also encourage increased efforts in sustainability.”
Mesla Wire & Cable Sdn Bhd, with its product, the JV-R 90°C, won an ENGINEER 2024 Excellence Award, which is a new product on the market. “This will enhance brand name and help make us more well-known to customers,” said Lew Shann Chong, the company’s General Manager.
The Riello UPS Multi Power 2 was another winner of the ENGINEER 2024 Excellence Award, of which Selesa Technology Sdn Bhd is the sole distributor in Malaysia. “This can help promote our company to another level, and also introduce our product to more people,” said Nelson Tham, Project Manager.
The sole winner of the Excellence Award for Booth Display in the Standard Structure category, Genius Cooling Towers Sdn Bhd, intends to participate again next year. “This award inspires us to improve and participate again next year and try to win again,” said Nurul Syahira Ashari, Sales Engineer.
Gold winner of the Booth Design Excellence Award in the Open Structure category, Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Bhd’s booth was in conjunction with its 100th anniversary and reflects excellence in innovation and sustainability. Company Senior Executive, Marketing, Chua Seok Kien said the booth conveys sustainability in the HVAC industry, and the award honours the committee involved. “The award helps us increase brand visibility and draws attention to our booth, and it also helps us increase confidence,” she said.
Silver winner for Booth Design, Smart Cable (M) Sdn Bhd’s booth was designed to embody the essence of its business, cables, with the different colour codes of their cables. “I think our booth design encourages people to come take pictures, and puts us at the forefront of their minds,” said Teressa Wong, the company’s Marketing Manager.
AUX Cloud Commerce (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd’s first-time participation was rewarded with a Bronze for the Booth Design Award in the Open Structure Category for its booth which envisioned bringing visitors to space, inspired by its partnership with China Rocket. “This is our first time entering Malaysia, so winning this award is really encouraging for us to go even further in our efforts to provide better products for the Malaysian market,” said Chan Kar Yew, its Marketing Executive.
