Factories today generate enormous amounts of data. The bigger challenge is turning that information into something manufacturers can actually use.
At ENGINEER MARVEX 2026, homegrown industrial automation company Intellogic Technology is demonstrating how its MACHHUB platform can bring factory data together to help manufacturers better understand production performance, identify downtime and respond more quickly when problems occur.
Established in Malaysia in 1996, Intellogic has evolved from predominantly hardware-based factory and machine automation towards software and industrial data solutions. Today, the company remains primarily focused on serving the Malaysian manufacturing sector.
“MACHHUB is essentially a data platform. We connect to your data, organise it and provide the infrastructure for you to build and deploy applications, including applications using AI,” said Intellogic Technology Chief Executive Officer, Sean Lim.
One application is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which allows manufacturers to measure machine availability, production performance and product quality.
For one Malaysian automotive parts manufacturer, Intellogic combined OEE monitoring with an Andon system to flag production issues, alert maintenance teams and analyse downtime. Replacing manual records with real-time visibility helped the manufacturer identify performance losses and, according to Lim, reduce downtime by at least 20%.
The same data foundation can also support predictive maintenance. With sufficient historical and operational data, manufacturers can identify recurring patterns and potentially anticipate equipment problems before they result in prolonged disruption.
Making its first appearance at ENGINEER MARVEX, Intellogic is among the exhibitors demonstrating how engineering is increasingly extending beyond physical machinery into the data and digital systems behind it.
